Remember when IT sleuths raided his Chennai residence to question him about BIGIL finances and the actor had to abruptly cancel his shoot in Neyveli where he was shooting for his upcoming film Master to rush home and take stock of the situation, how Thalpathy fans had vowed their support to stand by him in times of crisis. The actor who was overwhelmed by their gesture, showed his gratitude with a selfie from the sets of Master in Nyveli which thrilled fans. The photo went viral and created a record on social media.

Vijay is always looking for ways to keep his fans happy. His birthday is around the corner and fans have started celebrations a month ago with a common display picture. They were waiting to celebrate the big day with various activities. But as a dampener to their desires, actor Vijay has announced that there will be no celebrations in view of the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state. He has appealed to fan groups and associations not to allow any kind of gathering that could spread the virus. Thalapathy Vijay has decided to keep his birthday celebrations low key. This is the first time perhaps that the actor is disappointed his fans. But given the gravity of the situation, the Kollywood actor's decision to cancel his birthday celebrations is understandable. In fact his social consciousness is praise worthy.
