Post Karnataka, Sonu Sood takes special permissions from the Uttar Pradesh Government to send migrants through multiple buses
Just recently we had informed you about actor Sood becoming the first Indian celebrity to organise multiple bus services for the migrants to head back home
Just recently we had informed you about actor Sood becoming the first Indian celebrity to organise multiple bus services for the migrants to head back home. Back then, the actor had sent over 10 buses from Thane, Maharashtra to Gulbarga, Karnataka.
This time again Sonu Sood proved that he is a true hero in real sense as he has done the impossible by organising multiple bus services for Uttar Pradesh. As we are all aware, The Uttar Pradesh Government has sealed all borders of the state as a precautionary measure amidst the ongoing coronavirus crisis, however, taking the extra mile and after several efforts, Sonu proudly managed to take official permissions from the state government and send these migrants to their home town. Coming forward in his support to help these hundreds of migrants meet their families was actor's good friend Neeti Goel, who's also a part of this initiative.
Multiple buses left from Wadala, Mumbai today to various parts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Hardoi, Pratapgarh and Siddharthnagar as *well as to states like Jharkhand and Bihar*. Personally present their to bid goodbye to these migrants who were stuck in Mumbai, Sood made arrangements for their travel and provided meal kits to them during Ramadan.
Opening up about the same, Sonu Sood said, *"It has been an extremely emotional journey for me as my heart pains to see these migrants staying away from their homes walking on streets. I will continue sending migrants home until the last migrant reunites with his family and loved ones. This is something really close to my heart and I will give it my all."*
Sonu Sood has always been extremely generous, be it helping people in the current times of global health pandemic or even before. Truly a national hero, the star has time and again made sure to do his bit for India and the citizens all across. He has earlier donated gyms and bicycles to the Pulwama Attack survivors, helped India's various acid attack survivors and even showed support to our Paralympic athletes.
In addition to this, during the lockdown, Sonu decided to feed thousands of underprivileged families and provide meal kits to migrants in the Bhiwandi area during the holy month of Ramadan. He also gave away his luxury Mumbai hotel for the accomodation of the medical forces and donated over 1,500 PPE kits to doctors across Punjab.
Looks like there's truly no stopping for Sonu Sood! Taking a note of all his sweet and kind gestures, it won't be wrong to say that our reel life hero has strongly emerged as a real life hero and inspiration.
