After she shot to fame following her appearance in the Malayalam movie "Premam", Sai Pallavi became the most sought-after actress down South. The actress who usually doesn't accept every offer that comes her way is known for being choosy about her roles. As a result, most of her films have proved to be hits.
Sai Pallavi starrer Tamil flick "Paava Kadhaigal" is already making noise on the OTT platform.
Recently, the actress who spoke to the media is said to have revealed how she got scared after seeing Prakash Raj on the sets! Prakash Raj enacted the role of Sai Pallavi's father in the movie. "On the first day of the shooting, when Prakash Raj came on the sets he had the majestic look of a father on his face and I got really scared after watching his disciplined behaviour. He had evoked the character as he entered into sets," says Sai Pallavi.
"I knew the story of the movie. I was aware about the relationship of father and daughter in the story, and how disciplined the father is. Prakash Raj was also aware of this. On the first day of the shooting itself, he got into the skin of the character. For the first time itself when I got myself introduced to him I had the fearful feeling of a daughter who had done wrong," says Sai Pallavi.
The trailer of "Paava Kathaigal" evoked a lot of response from fans and also piqued the curiosity of film buffs. The movie, which shows the dark side of life, was helmed by four directors. This Anthology will be released on 18 December on the OTT. Other than "Paava Kathaigal", Sai Pallavi is busy working in other movies like Nag Chaitanya's "Love Story" which is almost completed, and "Viraat Parvam" which is based on Naxalites. Also, Sai Pallavi will be seen in a Shyam Singh Roy movie.
Paava Kadhaigal is directed by Sudha Kongara, Vignesh Shivan, Gautham Menon and Vetrimaaran. The movie stars Sai Pallavi, Kalki Koechlin, Anjali, Prakash Raj and Simran.
