Rakshit Shetty Won't Cast Rashmika As Kirik Party 2 Heroine

Kirik Party was a hit Kannada movie. The movie which made Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna household names. Their amazing chemistry both on and off screen made them famous.

The could even got engaged and were wanting to take their relationship to the next level. However, Rashmika called off their engagement for reasons best known to her.

While Rakshit was heartbroken, fans pointed fingers at Rashmika for choosing career over her relationship. Anyway, both moved on and now happy in their respective careers. So all that is now history.

We had heard earlier that Rakshit had registered a title for Kirik Party sequel soon as the movie became a hit. Now, the buzz is that the time has come to push the movie into production.

For sometime now, speculation is ripe that the makers of Kirik Party 2 will feature Rashmika Mandanna as female lead again. This led to rumours that the couple had probably patching up However, Rakshit Shetty is said to have rubbished these reports saying Rashmika won't be the heroine for Kirik Party 2 and there will be new faces in the movie.

Rishab and Rakshit Shetty will be jointly working in the movie. Rakshit's previous movie was Avane Srimmanayarana, a cop fantasy which was a superhit. His next is Charlia 777 for which Rakshit was shooting in scenic locales of Rajasthan till before lockdown.
