'Window Seat' new song to be unveiled soon

Bengaluru: Anchor-turned-actress Sheetal Shetty, who is making her directorial debut with 'Window Seat' has created a lot of curiosity. More so after the recent teaser and first single video of song 'Ati Chendada…' which hints that the film is a love story with elements of mystery woven in. Now, taking the excitement levels a notch higher to the Sandalwood audience, the team is coming up with a second song 'Khaali Akaasha…' soon.

'Window Seat' features Nirup Bhandari in the lead role, along with Sanjana Anand and Armutha Iyengar. An announcement in this regard was made by the debutant director on her social media account, where she also shared a few details about the film. "I feel very happy to announce that our new song 'Khaali Akaasha' from 'Window Seat' is ready.

This is the team's favourite song and will be released in a few days, hope the audience will accept it with open hands" said Sheetal Shetty. The film teaser got a big thumbs up from Sandalwood superstar Kiccha Sudeep who went on to share his appreciation.

The story is written by Sheetal Shetty and the film is bankrolled by Phantom producer Manjunath Gowda and it is said to be a romantic thriller in which Nirup Bhandari plays a guitarist. Though the shooting was completed in January, its release is delayed due to coronavirus outbreak. Music is being scored by Arjun Janya, cinematography by DOP Vignesh Raj while Ritwik will handle editing. The film will also feature Ravi Shankar in a prominent role alongside Suraj and theatre artiste Lekha.

Sheetal, a well-known Kannada news anchor, moved to the big screen to try her luck with Rakshit Shetty's 'Ulidavaru Kandante'. She later played prominent roles in films such as 'Kendasampige', directed by Suri. The actor also played a lead role in 'Patibeku.com'. Her latest film, 'Gadiyaara', is awaiting release. According to sources close to the 'Window Seat' team, the makers are looking to release the film in January.
