Tollywood: Samantha Akkineni is one of the talented heroines in the movie industry. This year, Samantha planned to come up with at least two movies but looking at the current scenario, it is not going to happen. She scored a big hit with Oh Baby last year and apart from that, she came up with Jaanu this year and it opened to mixed reports.
Meanwhile, it is clear that Samantha is not going to bring any of her new movies to the theatres this year. But, we may see her in 'The Family Man: Season 2' which features Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani in the lead roles. Samantha played a terrorist in the action drama. The web series is currently in post-production stage and it might hit the online platform Amazon Prime anytime soon this year.
Samantha is also in talks with Mythri Movie Makers for a film.
