Jagapathi Babu Celebrates His Birthday

Earlier, the Telugu filmmakers used to depend on the other language actors to play the negative and supporting roles in our films. But from the last six years, actor Jagapathi Babu is filling that void for us. Today he is one of the most versatile actors in the Telugu film industry. Jagapathi Babu is the son of veteran producer-director VB Rajendra Prasad. He got brought up in Chennai. He made his film debut with the film 1989 film Simha Swapnam. His first major success was 1992 movie Peddarikam. After that, Jagapathi Babu has starred in many super hit films like Gaayam, Subha Lagnam, Maavi Chiguru, Pelli Pandiri, Kabaddi Kabaddi, Athade Oka Sainyam and Pellaina Kothalo.

His supporting role in the film Lakshyam also brought him a Nandi Award in the year 2007. In 2014, Jagapathi babu has donned the antagonist role for the first time in the film Legend. Since then, he gave many memorable performances in films like Nannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam and Aravinda Sametha. Currently, Jagapathi Babu is shooting for Keerthy Suresh's Good Luck Sakhi, which is being directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.
