Mahesh, Surender Reddy meet up?

Superstar Mahesh Babu had a meeting with new-age director Surender Reddy on Friday to discuss about a big-ticket extravaganza. "Mahesh Babu met Surender Reddy and discussed a few story ideas but nothing is fixed yet," says a source, close to the director.

The director has been working on an 'exciting' script to befit the larger-than-life image of 'Maharshi' star and both 'in principle' have agreed to join hands, while other things are being worked out, the source adds.

Actually, Mahesh Babu was impressed with the making of magnum opus 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' and also tweeted appreciating its scale, grandeur and visuals besides Chiranjeevi's performance and patted the director as well, post its release.

"Now he is looking to work with the director because he proved that he can handle massive star-centric movies loaded with big bang action sequences and breath-taking visuals," the source points out.

After doing a fun-centric commercial film 'Sarileru Neekevvaru,' Mahesh should be thinking of doing a proper hero-centric film with Surender Reddy but it could be a contemporary theme rather than a periodic saga, it is learnt.

Nonetheless, the bearded director, who delivered hits with stars like Ravi Teja(Kick), Allu Arjun (Race Gurram) and Ram Charan (Dhruva), would love to erase the bad memories of 'Athidhi' (Mahesh Babu) with a sensational blockbuster with the son of superstar Krishna.
