Niharika goes for a makeover

Young actress Niharika Konidela, sister of Varun Tej, has gone in for a complete makeover, in her latest photoshoot in Mumbai, which has gone viral. She seems to be bored with her girl-next-door image and cut flab and looking gorgeous in a trendy outfit.

The daughter of Nagababu made her debut in T-town with 'Oka Manasu,' playing a sari-clad soft-spoken girl, and it went down without a whimper. Even her other movies like 'Happy Wedding' and 'Suryakantham' failed to set box office on fire.

Probably, realising the changing taste of the Telugu audience, Niharika went into a workout regimen and strict diet for a new look.

Telugu filmmakers are known for signing heroines for glam-centric roles than performance-oriented roles, so Niharika has done the right thing to give her career a fillip.
