It looks like young hero Sai Dharam Tej is planning to do more movies with new-age directors, who are making different kind of movies. The 'Supreme' actor is reportedly planning to join hands with director Venkat Ramji, who is basking in the success of 'Evaru'.
"Sai Dharam Tej was impressed with the directorial abilities of Venkat Ramji and had a meeting with 'Evaru' director recently. They discussed a couple of story ideas as they are planning to work together, but nothing is fixed yet," says a source, close to the actor.
In fact, the actor also offered to produce the film, but the director informed him that he has enough producers and now it is just matter of time before the much-awaited movie kicks off, adds the source.
After bouncing back with 'Chitralahari,' the mega hero is avoiding movies with seasoned directors. Already, he has cut weight for his big-ticket movie with director Maruthi, which will be jointly produced by Geetha Arts and UV Creations and they are leaving no stone unturned to deliver an extravagant movie with a budget of Rs 25 crore.
Sai Dharam Tej rechristened his name as Sai Tej and it worked wonders for him, the source points out. Meanwhile, Sai Tej also had discussions with director Deva Khatta and the latter is busy in preparing a script.
No doubt, Sai is leaning towards talented directors over flop big-league directors.
