Software engineer turned actor

Telugu-speaking actress Pujitha Ponnada, who was doing job as a software engineer in TCS, has now become busy as an actress. "I am getting good offers these days.

I enjoyed my stint as software professional as well," she says and adds "I did a short film and it changed my profession for good," She is pinning big hopes on her upcoming film 'Seven' and describes it as a romantic crime thriller.

"I can't divulge more about my role, but I am portraying an interesting role. I had good time with my co-stars Havish and Regina Cassandra," she adds.

Despite coming from non-filmi background, the Visakapatnam girl is doing well. "It is true that I have no connection with film industry. Initially, my parents discouraged me, but later helped me to pursue my acting dream,' she adds.

However, she rules out doing a bold role and claims to have equal footage despite five other heroines in the movie 'Seven'. "It's a different role and not a bold one. My role is clearly etched out and given decent screen time as well," she points out.
