Suriya is a gem of a person, says Rajinikanth

Suriya is an actor who comes up with great films time and again. He is now ready with his latest presentation 'Bandobasth' (Kaappaan in Tamil) which will release in the two Telugu states soon.

The audio of the film was launched in Chennai and stars like Rajinikanth, Shankar and Mohan Lal attended the event. In his speech Rajinikanth said, "Suriya is a gem of a person.

He has slowly made it to the top on his own and has done some tremendous work in the past. I wish that Suriya will entertain you completely with this film.

More than an actor, Mohan Lal is a superb human being and I am excited to see his role in the film. Coming to Arya, I was shocked to see his performance in 'Nenu Devudni.'

He has a good role in this film which has superb music by Harris Jayraj. Director K V Anand has very good judgment on the story. Subhaskaran is a very passionate producer and I know it for a fact as I am working with him now in 'Darbar,"

Tamil star Suriya added, ""One of my biggest strengths is undoubtedly my fans and I am nothing without them. This film has come out quite well and I need to thank my producer Subhaskaran for his efforts and giving us free hand.

This is my third film with K V Anand after 'Vedokkade' and 'Brothers.' Career-wise, this is a very crucial film for me. I have been always been trying to do things differently, even though I have failed.

Last but not the least, I thank Rajini sir for blessing us at this event. There is no one like him. Also, I thank Shankar sir for taking cinema to the next level always.

Finally, I am a man who believes that success is not a destiny but a journey and want all my fans to do the same."."

Actor Mohan Lal said, "This is my 41st year in the industry and I work with the same dedication for all my films,"

Suriya's brother and Tamil star Karthi added, "Mohan Lal is my favorite actor in the industry. The moment I knew that he is acting with Suriya, I felt so happy.

This film will be a feast for all the Suriya's fans," Actor Arya said, "I have been a big fan of K V Anand films and always wanted to work with him.

One fine day, he called me and gave me a good role in this film. This is my first film with Sayesha after our wedding and I enjoyed it completely,"
