Tamannaah says no to Ravi Teja?

Despite working with senior heroes like Chiranjeevi (Sye Raa..)and Venkatesh (F2), pretty actress Tamannah has reportedly declined to play love interest to energetic star Ravi Teja in his upcoming film with director Trinadh Rao to be made by People Media Factory. "She didn't even listen to the script and declined the plum offer," says a source, close to the unit. Adding to it, she quoted a whopping Rs 2.5 crore to romance 'Kick' star and producers backed out. "Usually, top divas cut their remuneration to work with popular stars like Ravi Teja and for a big production house but Tamannaah seems to be an exception of sorts. Instead of cutting her pay, she hiked her salary by Rs 1 crore and baffled producers," the source adds.

It's high time, Tamannaah learns a lesson or two from her arch rival and glam diva Kajal Agarwal. "Kajal is still affordable to producers, whereas Tamannaah has gone over-the-top," the source points out.

The source further adds, "Tamannaah is working with Gopichand in 'Seetimaar' for a lesser pay, while quoting a hefty sum for Ravi Teja. It is not the right way to go. She has to re-check her plans and cut her pay before it is too late."
