Yadagirigutta: Telangana Film Chamber chairman Prathani Ramakrishna Goud stated that artistes, workers and producers are getting more chances in the film industry. The chamber has 800 registered members so far, he added.
He distributed health cards to the artistes of Yadagirigutta at a programme held here on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has given many incentives to the cinema field and thanked the CM on behalf of the artistes of Telangana.
He informed that theatres in the State will be opened from December 11 and small films will get good opportunities.
Ramakrishna Goud said that Chief Minister KCR was ready to provide 2,000 acres for the establishment of cine industry in the State. He informed that famous producer Ramgopal Varma is also working with Telangana Film Chamber and as many as 125 movies have finished censor screening and a few more are under shooting and will be released soon.
In general cine industry will have 24 craft sections, but the Telangana Film Chamber has created 25 craft sections and about 800 people has chamber membership, and all are working very comfortably, he added. Goud informed that Telangana Chamber is working to provide more facilities by providing Rs 5 lakh health card to 5,000 technicians and making efforts to get Ayushman Bharath scheme to all film artistes and workers of this region.
The Chamber has decided to open its branches in Yadagirigutta, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar to strengthen the organisation in all aspects, the Telangana Film Chamber chairman informed.
