But recently, hero Ram said that Puri and himself developed the story together in Goa and clarified all the rumors. We are also aware of the plans of making a sequel for this film.
The latest we hear is that hero Vijay Deverakonda is keen on acting in the iSmart Shankar's sequel Double iSmart. Apparently, the Arjun Reddy actor wants to be a part of the prestigious project's sequel.
Due to the failure of Dear Comrade, Vijay Deverakonda doesn't want to experiment as of now and is planning to make a strong comeback with a mass film. It seems that is the main reason he approached Puri. They are already working on a film now but Vijay wants to do back to back films with the director. We have to see how things turn out.
