Uppi's Fitting Reply To Critics: I Have A Daughter Too!

We already told you that Kannada actor Upendra was among those who expressed a not so happy reaction to the Hyderabad encounter in which the cops shot down four accused in the Vet doctor's murder case on the outskirts of Hyderabad when they tried to flee. In a tweet Uppi had asked if the same fate would befall rapists who came from affluent and influential families too.

A few poeple misinterpreted his tweet saying he was trying to support the criminals by saying so. And knowing Upendra who doesn't like to take anything lying down, he has given a fitting reply to his critics who mocked his opinion on the Hyderabad encounter.

He said he was disappointed with the kind of people that exist in this society and also reminded people that he was also the father of a daughter and hence his remarks were responsible. He goes to say that he only meant that such encounters should not be misused by those who are influential in the society. We couldn't agree more with him.
