The present era of Tollywood is going with numeric experiments and thrillers. Stepping out of the normal love dramas and action flicks, the young directors are coming up with unique plots. 'Zombie Reddy' also belongs to the same category and 'Awe!' Prashanth Varma has decided to make the audience enjoy the edge of the seat horror movie adding his creative thoughts.
Off late, the makers have dropped the horrifying teaser of 'Zombie Reddy' and left the movie buffs in the state of 'Awww' with the mayhem elements.
Tollywood ace actress Samantha, who is the reel grandmother of protagonist Teja Sajja, has unveiled the teaser of this movie and sent her best wishes to the team. The teaser makes us witness the events of the spread of Coronavirus.
The story is set in the backdrop of Kurnool and speaking about the movie, Prashant doled out, "The film revolves around coronavirus and is set up in Kurnool. How people of Kurnool save the world by stopping the pandemic is what my film is all about. It shows Kurnool and its people in a good light actually, so people don't misunderstand the title."
Going with the teaser, the negative impact of human acumen is highlighted with a voice-over, "Daivam manushya rupena annadi ithihaasam. Rakshasam manushya rupena annadi prasthutham. Bhagavanthuni adbhutha shrusthtilo oke oka porapatu manishiki medha shakthi ivvadam. Aa medha shakthi thanake oka prashnagaa nilisthe, daivam nerpe gunapaatham, manishi uniki ke pramadam".
It also shows off the Covid-19 diagrams on the blackboard and the hints of the pandemic vaccine in a lab. Then the plot shifts to Daksha, Anandhi and Teja Sajja with the introduction of their characters and ends with the Zombie effect.
