The coral of season

A pink-tinted hue is taking over the fashion industry since the beginning of the year. Living Coral is vibrant yet mellow with consumers craving human interaction and social connection, the humanising and heartening qualities displayed by the convivial 'Pantone Living Coral' hit a responsive chord.

Due to the great response, the colour is infused in almost every industry, from product design, new lifestyle, playstyles or fashion. Apple also introduced the iPhone XR in the present colour trend, Living Coral. As the year started, we got so comfortably geared up to welcome this trend in our wardrobes, homes, make-up and beauty routines with bold, statement-making style. With summers already hitting upon us, Living Coral colour trend offers to enhance and influence a dual role of energising and nourishing, even though it feels inherently subtler, sweeter and warmer. Coral is a perfect mix of different colours that compliments just about any skin tone across the world! Coral is definitely one of Priyanka Chopra's favourite colours. We have spotted her wearing different shades of the pinkish-orange colour on several occasions over the years, which inspires us to add it to our wardrobes. Here are a few ways to incorporate this beautiful shade into your daily lives.

Alia Bhatt opted for a stunning tulle gown from Gauri and Nainika for a red-carpet event. Instead of traditional and boring coral shaded tees, you can experiment and play around with the shade by opting for coral layers, chinos flared pants, skirts, and floral printed dresses. There's no way you can go wrong with coral. You could always opt for a coral two-piece co-ord look as well just like Esha Gupta and Priyanka Chopra. British royalty Kate Middleton started this trend some years ago when she stepped out in coral-hued jeans. Deepika Padukone went for a cool white Ganji with coral jeans for one of her airport looks.

Taking cues from the fashion queen, Kangana as she chose to wear a coral paithani saree for the trailer launch of 'Manikarnika'. For those slightly more colour shy – simply opting for a statement accessory like a pair of sunglasses for the spring/summer season, a bold piece of jewellery or a vibrant bag to tie your outfit together.

Men can rock in layered coral looks too. From casual to ethnic, coral is to the go colour trend amongst men. Sport a coral-coloured linen shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and white sneakers to make a statement. If you are experimental with your colours, try going for a coral suit just like Karan Grover did it Raamz at Lakme Fashion Week.
