Says Yash Sinha of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ fame. He will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘Kisi Se Na Kehna’…

Theatre actor Yash Sinha started his journey with the group Yatra and then he transitioned to television and films. "I have so many good memories of all my shows. I must mention that each project that I have worked upon has enriched me as an actor, helped me evolve as a beginner and gave me a certain perspective. I have had my highs and lows, but the lows have been difficult but in retrospect, they all had their parts to play in my life," the actor says.

About 'Kisi Se Na Kehna' he says, "The movie is a slice of life family film, where hilarious situations happen cause of a certain confusion and how all the characters are affected because of it is a part of the narrative."

"Omprakash Sinhmar or Yudi as we call him is so much fun to work with. He has this inherent sense of humour which is so infectious. It was great working with him as he knows what he wants but at the same time, he is open to other's perspective as well. He is such a warm and affable guy; you want him to be around you."

His real connection with Bollywood started with Varun Dhawan starrer 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya'. He says, "'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' happened by chance. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra's team had approached me for a film earlier, somehow things didn't work out and later they again approached me for this movie and things just fell into place."

Yash says his experience with Varun Dhawan was surreal. "He (Varun) was extremely supportive. He made me feel so comfortable. It was my first major role in a huge film with a great star, I had all the reasons to be nervous, but Varun and my director Shashank Khaitaan made me feel like I belonged with them. I have immense gratitude for both Varun and Shashank," Yash adds.

About having fun during the shoot of 'Kisi Se Na Kehna,' he relates, "We were shooting in Jhansi and our return flight was from Lucknow. Most of us were travelling together and we all wanted to eat Lucknow kebabs and because of Moharram we were unable to find kebabs anywhere but Swanand sir somehow managed to find somebody who got us those kebabs in the nick of the time. We all went crazy having those kebabs and it felt like an accomplishment then."

After working for television shows like 'Awaaz Dil Se Dil Tak' on Zee; 'Kittu Sab Janti Hai' on Sahara One; 'Teen Bahuraniyaan' on Zee; 'Bhagyavidhata' and 'Code Red' on Colors, Yash says that he misses the madness of television. "It's a different world, where we are running against time to meet the deadlines of our TV shows. I feel it's a great learning platform, it prepares you for any kind of unforeseen situation...you have to be on your toes all the time."

"With films, I have realised you have time to prepare, introspect and of course the depth of the camera too changes. But as I said, television prepares you for everything and then it's up to you, how you adjust and synchronise your experiences with the subtleties of the medium."
