New Delhi: Unacademy, India's largest learning platform, today announced the launch of the Plus Subscription after a beta of two months. The subscription gives learners preparing for various examinations unlimited access to live classes by the best teachers in the country. Learners get a personalised learning experience that is augmented by doubt-clearing sessions with the educators, interactive classes and a live test series. The educators are compensated well for conducting the live classes.
Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Munjal, Co-Founder and CEO, Unacademy said, "Our vision has always been to build the world's largest education platform and provide quality education by leveraging the power of technology. Every step we take is in that direction. With the subscription, learners can watch live classes, learn from the best teachers and complete their entire preparation online, on Unacademy. There are no financial or geographic barriers. In just two months, we have garnered 15000 paid subscribers and we have observed high engagement rates and NPS Scores. We are now planning to launch in more categories, even internationally."
Currently, four subscription options are available for the 12 categories - UPSC CSE, SSC Exams, Bank Exams, Railway Exams, CAT, IIT-JEE, NTA-UGC NET, CSIR-UGC NET, Kerala PSC, Rajasthan PSC (RPSC), Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and CDS/AFCAT. More than 600 live classes are conducted every day on Plus by 400+ Educators. Unacademy is now looking to launch more categories and go deeper into existing categories by adding more courses, educators and languages.
