Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority declared the UPTET Result on Friday, 7 February 2020 on upbasiceduboard.gov.in. More than 40 per cent of candidates have qualified the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET). Candidates can check their result on the official website or the direct link shared here.

This year, 1656338 candidates got registered for the UPTET examination, out of which 1514716 candidates appeared for the examination, and 354703 candidates qualified the exam.

Candidates, who appeared for the UPTET examination which was held on January 8, 2020, can check their results on the official website via candidate login details.

The Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority (UPERA), Prayagraj has declared the UPTET 2020 result. This is to inform the candidates that the result will be available on the official website up to March 6, 2020. So, they are advised to check and download their result before the date mentioned above.

The UPTET 2019 result has been declared online on the official website - http://updeled.gov.in/. For Paper 1 and Paper 2, the result is released in the PDF format separately.

Out of the total candidates who appeared for the Uttar Pradesh TET exam, only 29.74% qualified the UPTET Paper 1, and only 11.46% managed to pass in UPTET Paper 2. UPTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 were conducted in two shifts (morning and afternoon) on 8th January, the same day. 16 lakh 58 thousand candidates appeared for the exam, which was held at 1986 centres across the state. For Paper 1, 10 lakh candidates and for paper 2 more than 5 lakh candidate appeared for Paper 2. Candidates who scored UPTET minimum qualifying marks have been declared as passed.

The UP Board will soon conduct the UPTET 2020 exam for those who failed in the UPTET 2019. UPTET qualify candidates will be awarded the UPTET Certificate which will be valid up to 7 years.

The UPTET Certificate will be released by February 29, 2020. The candidates who want to apply for UP Teacher jobs can apply only after getting the UPTET Eligibility Certificate 2020. This Certificate is the main requirement for any teaching job in Uttar Pradesh which is valid for 7 years.
