Online marketing will be on rise post Covid -19. The ongoing digital transformation in the country is expected to increase India's total internet user base to 829 million by 2021 from 736.73 million in FY19. India's internet economy is expected to double from US$ 125 billion as of April 2017 to US$ 500 billion by 2022, majorly backed by the ongoing digital transformation, e-Commerce and digital products. The digital marketing industry in India is worth $68 billion! Additionally, advertising via mobile phones and tablets rose by 200 per cent.
E-learning & coaching: The UGC also gave guidelines that from now onwards 25% classes should be online only in all universities and the teaching staff must upgrade themselves to this level. With this realisation, schools, universities and coaching centres are scrambling to provide online classes to their students. 75% Indians prefer online or e-learning as compared to traditional classroom training. Indian culture and demography is ideal for online learning.
