The best and the worst of every student’s life is the last day of their school life.
The best and the worst of every student's life is the last day of their school life.
Here are some students who shared their memories and their feelings about their last day of school.
"My last day at school is one of the best memories. Time has just flown! It seems like I had just joined the other day and now it was to finally say goodbye to my school life. I was sad to leave school, but at the same time was excited to meet new challenges in life ahead of me. The day began with a class assembly in the morning in the school auditorium. The entire school was present to felicitate us. I was feeling so important for the first time in my life. It was now time to greet my friends and classmates good-bye for one final time. I was taking my scrap book to all my friends requesting them to write a few lines. Then we started putting our autographs on each other's uniforms.

"I spent 10 years in this school. It was an unforgettable golden period for me. It passed like a happiest dream. I was sad as I miss the naughty things which I used to do in my class. My juniors had organised a farewell party for us on our departure. We all were in a sad mood as it was a day to say good bye. We gathered in our assembly hall. We were welcomed with flowers. Our juniors served us tea and chocolates. The students staged lots of activities to make the day special for us. They sung songs, danced, prayed and prepared speech to show their affection towards us. At the end of the programme the class teacher addressed us with a song which was very touching and filled our eyes with tears. Throughout the year we took efforts to make our school popular and our hard work was appreciated by our teachers. Our teachers and juniors prayed for our success in the coming board exams and the future life. I prepared a speech to thank my juniors, teachers, fellow mates and Principal for their love and support. After the programme was over I took pictures with my teachers and Principal. I can never ever forget that last day at school.
