Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Hyderabad celebrated its Graduation Day for the graduating classes of PGDM and Executive PGDM programmes with Ms. Vinita Bali, Former Managing Director, Britannia Industries Ltd. presiding over the ceremony as the Chief Guest, at Hotel Novotel Shamshabad.

Hyderabad: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Hyderabad celebrated its Graduation Day for the graduating classes of PGDM and Executive PGDM programmes with Ms. Vinita Bali, Former Managing Director, Britannia Industries Ltd. presiding over the ceremony as the Chief Guest, at Hotel Novotel Shamshabad.

A total of 116 students, consisting of 92 from PGDM Class of 2018, and 24 from Executive PGDM of batch 13 and 14 graduated from NMIMS, Hyderabad today. With this, the NMIMS, Hyderabad alumni network now reached around 550 plus, spread across different parts of the country. The graduation day commenced with the Academic ceremonial procession led by the Regitrar of the university, Dr. Meena Chintamaneni. The School also celebrated the accomplishments of its students and gave away awards to students who excelled in academics, extra-curricular activities.

Vinita shared several valuable lessons from her journey of building a global, scalable, sustainable and successful company from India. She enumerated on the importance of leadership, not just from business/corporate perspective but more from the behavioral side of it.

Earlier addressing the ceremony Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajan Saxena told the students, "The day marks the culmination of a rigorous and action-packed period filled with learning, networking, growth and signifies a step forward for our graduating students.

Dr. Prithvi Yadav, Director NMIMS Hyderabad welcomed all those gathered for the ceremony and enumerated the schools partnership with students, the faculty's passion for teaching and a worldwide alumni body "who go off into the world and do extraordinary things." He also threw light on the placements of the batch.
