Hyderabad: DPS Nadergul organised Baby's Nite Out for its tiny tots of Grade 1. This event is based on the Delors Principles which emphasises upon integrated vision of education. One of the most influential concepts in it is the four pillars of learning. Every year this exciting and adventurous camping experience is organised by the school to inculcate among its students the essence of these four principles that would help them attain the knowledge that is essential for human development.

This well-planned adventure began with a task based on the principle learning to be where in the children were asked to pack all their basic things for the night encouraging them to be even more responsible and independent. The School Principal Padma Jyothi Turaga accompanied by the Vice Principal Kiran Khanna greeted the tiny tots and the children were offered a healthy welcome drink. The emprise began with a soothing prayer and assembly including aerobics. The evening started with variety of rides such as 'Giant wheel', 'Merry- go- round' and many more to name. A variety of games were organized to entertain the little ones. The fun-filled one was the face painting activity that captivated the imagination and creativity of the children with the magic of natural colours.

Emphasising upon the principle learning to live together, they children enjoyed the healthy appetizers together and had also learnt the values of sharing and caring. The children then joined the evening's most awaited event 'magic show' where they danced, yelled and enjoyed the show with all the energy they had. A delightful and healthy dinner was served. Lying on the bed of green grass and with a canopy of stars over them, they relished watching their most favourite movie 'Stuart little'. Highlighting the principle Learning to know, the children listened to the stories and a lullaby from their teachers and went to bed.

On Sunday morning, the children woke up with a great zeal and a smiling face. The day's routine kick-started with jogging and meditation based on the principle learning to do. They were then served breakfast and presented a wallet containing memorable gifts. The parents thanked the School Managing Committee for organising such an event to inculcate a feeling of responsibility.
