NGO to expose 2500 students over a month

Hyderabad: Literacy Helping Hand (LHH), an NGO, organised an awareness session on 'Clean Water and Sanitation' at Moosapet in Hyderabad on Tuesday for orphanage students. Their aim was to engage students in a creative exercise and teaching them on 'clean water and sanitation', one of the important goals among 17 SDGs to transform the world. They urged the students to start practicing scientific method of waste disposal and maintaining proper sanitation to contain the outbreak of diseases like Amoebiasis, Diarrhoea and hepatitis.

Meanwhile, an art competition was also conducted for orphan students which makes them visualise their ideas and improve their creative skills. More than 24 students participated in this competition.

'In the next event we would make them discuss on the Idea through Debate, Group Discussion and jam sessions and prototyping their ideas. Our target is to educate 2500 students on sustainable development goals. In this month we are planning to conduct more awareness sessions in government schools" said Amulya, Executive Board member of LHH-Hyderabad Chapter.
