IT Job Fair organised with 400 jobs on offer
HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) organised its first ever Job Fair 2019 at HICC in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) organised its first ever Job Fair 2019 at HICC in Hyderabad.
This was for fresh Engineering graduates (B.Tech/B.E - All branches) and MCAs who have passed out in the years 2017 and 2018 with minimum 60 per cent marks.
The skills required were Coding and Programming, EB Development, Mobile App Development, Graphic Design, Web Content Management and Testing, Cloud and other IT Skills. Students had to go through an online test and Group Discussion organised by the reputed testing agency Mettl.
More than 1000 short listed students were then invited to participate in the fair.
More than 400+ jobs were on offer, and the entire process has generated a database of more than 3600 qualified and pre-screened candidates, which will be shared with major IT/ITES companies to generate further jobs. More than 50+ companies participated in the Fair.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department, Govt. of Telangana, inaugurated the job fair and in his address mentioned, "The real backbone of the IT industry in Hyderabad is provided by SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) companies.
Recruiting fresh talent is a challenge for mid-scale companies. I am happy that HYSEA has organised this job fair, so that a large number of jobs can be offered.
I hope that the students who get a job today will make a great career." He further stated, "Students post these placements should not stop learning but keep acquiring new skills, as the IT industry is going through a great transformation."
Murali Bollu, President, HYSEA and CEO, ZenQ speaking on the occasion said, "This job fair is the newest initiative of HYSEA to bring together qualified talent for hiring by SMEs and Startups, as they have limited bandwidth to visit college campuses for their hiring needs.
We would like to organize more such events for the benefit of these companies and for students seeking good jobs in the IT industry".
