Novato Fiesta at Bhavan's College

Hyderabad: The senior students of Bhavan's Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri ,Secunderabad organised a fun filled fresher's party to welcome the new batch of UG students . The inaugural programme was attended by Air Cmde J L N Sastry, VSM; Vice Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan , Sainikpuri Kendra ; Principal, Prof Y. Ashok and Vice Principal, B Niraimathi. Dr C Kameswari, Xpressionz Coordinator recited a beautiful poem in Hindi to welcome the students.

Keeping in line with the theme and festivity , the newbies were dressed in their best in red and black. The whole cultural program was conceived based on the theme titled Novato Fiesta-2019. The event was a wholesome entertainment , packed with cultural events, talent shows, skits, and the thrilling eliminating rounds to select the Most Promising Fresher of the college.

Eighteen contestants shortlisted after rigorous screening were the main contenders for the title .They made a sincere effort to impress the judges and the young audience by displaying their multi-faceted talent. There was a thunderous applause and cheering when The Most Promising Fresher for the year was being announced.. B Pooja, a B Com student was adjudged as the Most Promising Fresher of the year.

Also the new team of a Xpressionzclub was introduced who are the main creative mind behind every cultural event of the college. The event was full of fun frolic and entertainment . It was a warm gesture by the seniors to make the stay of the newcomers in the campus a pleasant experience .
