Student induction programme underway at RBVRR Women's College
Hyderabad: RBVRR Women's College is organising a one-week Student induction programme for students admitted to all UG courses for the academic year 2019-2020.
The Inaugural function was held on Thursday. The objective of the programme is to introduce students to the various aspects of the college and prepare them to achieve academic excellence in future. Prof.V.Venkata Ramana, Vice – Chairman, Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) was invited as the Chief Guest.
The programme began by paying homage to Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy, the Founder of the college. Dr. P. Jhansi Lakshmi, Programme Coordinator, Student Induction Programme, welcomed the gathering. Principal, Dr K . Sarada read out a detailed report on the history of the college and its achievements.
Correspondent cum Secretary, Prof. K. Muthyam Reddy addressed the parents and students. Chief Guest Prof.V.Venkata Ramana, encouraged the students with his inspiring words on education and empowerment of women. It ended with the Vote of Thanks by Vice-Principal, Dr. J. Achyutha Devi. Students and parents were encouraged to share their suggestions and observations.
