Roots College of Hotel Management and culinary arts, somajiguda celebrated organic farming at its campus on Sunday.

Hyderabad: Roots College of Hotel Management and culinary arts, somajiguda celebrated organic farming at its campus on Sunday. Chef Farming- to understand the art of growth and survival through plantation was promoted by Chef Raghuveer , Senior faculty ,Food production who motivated the young students to take up Kitchen gardening. He describes Chef Farming is the first step towards a healthy kitchen.

Students were encouraged to teach and promote kitchen garden techniques. Special programmes were planned to reach out to house-holds. Chef Navin Rao, Principal, Roots College of Hotel Management emphasised on the active role of students in this mission.

He also encouraged students to create social media groups to spread such positive information. BP Padala, Chairman, Roots spoke in length about the importance of culturally significant food and the evolution of food over last few decades.
