Mysuru: Following a conflict between Mysuru deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri and local MLAs, Revenue Minister R Ashok has announced cancellation of "Janaspandana". The programme was to respond to grievances of people in each taluk. She had organised the programme at Nanjangud last week.

Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Mr Ashok said that they are introducing another programme called "Jilladikaarigala nadige graamada kadege-DC's steps towards villages".

"We are still preparing necessary guidelines in this regard. People's grievances will be heard in this programme.

We have spoken to DC on how they should coordinate with local MLAs and how they should be invited and involved in such programmes when she met me on Sunday," he said.

He said that they would form Vokkaliga corporation or authority during the term of Yeddyurappa's regime. "I have already discussed it with CM. Several community leaders, pontiffs, associations have spoken to me in this regard," he said.
