Police arrest 19 persons

Shivamoga: As many as 19 accused have been arrested in connection with the gang war in Lashkar Mohalla of the city. Yasin Qureshi, a rowdy who was injured in a gang war in Shimoga city's Lashkar Mohalla on Wednesday evening, died on Thursday after not responding to treatment, taking the number of murders in the gang war to three. Earlier, Suhail of KR Puram and Gaus of Annanagar were murdered in Gangwar.

Yasin Qureshi, who was injured in the scuffle, was admitted to McGann Hospital and later admitted to a private hospital for further treatment. Yasin, who was being treated in the ICU, died after the treatment failed.

The accused killers of Suhail and Gaus are absconding and police are on the lookout for them A total of 19 accused have been arrested in the gang war case. 10 people from Yasin Qureshi's side and 9 from Adil's group, who were hiding after killing Suhail and Ghaus, have been arrested. A case of 302 has been registered against 10 people and 307 against 9 people.

Shimoga SP Mithun Kumar has released the names of the arrested accused. They have been identified as Adil Pasha, Shakib, Sangeer, Sameer Alias ​​Affu, Ibrar Ali Alias ​​Ibbu, Imran Alias ​​Nimmu, Parvez, and Pratap Alias ​​Anna of Adil Gang.

Mohammad Rizwan alias Thottu, Aryan Khan, Shabaz Khan, Azhar, Yaseen alias Batt, Suheb alias Danger, Sohail alias Kongati, and Rizwan Pasha of the Qureshi gang were arrested.

Qureshi cremated amid heavy Bandobust:

Rowdy Yasin Qureshi, who died on Thursday, was cremated amid tight security. The last rites were held at a Muslim graveyard near the Shimoga bus stand, and a large number of people had gathered in the background, and a heavy police presence was made. Police were deployed along the route of the funeral procession. The last rites were performed without any untoward incident.
