Police arrest 19 persons
Shivamoga: As many as 19 accused have been arrested in connection with the gang war in Lashkar Mohalla of the city. Yasin Qureshi, a rowdy who was injured in a gang war in Shimoga city's Lashkar Mohalla on Wednesday evening, died on Thursday after not responding to treatment, taking the number of murders in the gang war to three. Earlier, Suhail of KR Puram and Gaus of Annanagar were murdered in Gangwar.
Yasin Qureshi, who was injured in the scuffle, was admitted to McGann Hospital and later admitted to a private hospital for further treatment. Yasin, who was being treated in the ICU, died after the treatment failed.
