Dhuska is a famous dish from North India. Batter made with green chillis and garlic by grinding soaked basmati rice and chana dal, and then fried in small parts, this recipe is extremely easy to make. This snack recipe is perfect for serving at festivals like Holi and kids would just love it.

INGREDIENTS OF DHUSKA

5 Servings

2 cup basmati rice

1 cup soaked chana dal

4 chopped green chilli

5 cloves garlic

4 curry leaves

2 teaspoon powdered salt

1 handful chopped coriander leaves

1 medium finely chopped onion

1 pinch turmeric

1/3 cup water

HOW TO MAKE DHUSKA

Step 1 / 6

For this easy recipe, soak rice and daal for 4-5 hours.

Step 2 / 6

Grind with green chillis, garlic and very little water.

Step 3 / 6

Batter should not be very thick nor too runny. Add little bit turmeric and salt to it.

Step 4 / 6

Heat oil in a wok. It should not be too hot. Take a round spoon which we use for making dosa.

Step 5 / 6

With the help of spoon gently release the batter into the oil. Fry from both sides.

Step 6 / 6

Serve with any gravy dish, aloo tamatar ki sabzi or simply with pickle.
