Taipei: Internet blogger phenomenon Nuseir Yassin celebrated Taiwanese society's prosperity and generosity in a newly released video saturday that has been viewed more than 673,000 times in just a few hours.

Sometime in December, Yassin stayed overnight with his girlfriend in one of the Presidential Office's guest rooms, as one of the 10 pairs of visitors who earned the opportunity to "Spend a Night in the Presidential Office House" in a program jointly arranged by the General Association of Chinese Culture, the Tourism Bureau, and the Foreign Ministry.

As part of program, the guests are asked to upload a video about their experience about Taiwan.

His video "Asia's Secret State," which he posted on Saturday, generated 37,000 likes, and was watched 692,000 times in just three hours after it was released.

Yassin shared the success of the democratic country Taiwan, which he described as located in the heart of Asia, in the three-minute video released on Nas Daily, its Facebook page with over 14 million followers."I came to visit Taiwan last week and it amazed me and I hope you too will be impressed!" he said.

Yassin described Taiwan as having Wi-Fi in its public parks and good food in the night markets. He pointed out that even its garbage trucks play good music.

"Taiwan is also a welcoming society that is accepting of everyone!" Yassin said.

Although there is pressure which makes it difficult for Taiwan to be seen internationally, Yassin said, its healthcare system and technology still reflect its success.

Taiwan has one of the world's best health-care systems. It costs 5 dollars to see a doctor, "he said." Your laptop, iPhone, and electronics were most likely produced by a Taiwanese company.

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) also joined Yassin in the video to introduce herself as the first female president of the country

"Taiwan is a free, democratic, open and amazing place," she said.

Yassin, who describes himself as Palestinian-Israeli, rose to fame in January when he completed a challenge of uploading a one-minute video on Facebook for 1,000 consecutive days.
