    Andhra Pradesh News: Ramesh Kumar belongs to Kadapa and will be the first CIC of Andhra Pradesh. There are four information commissioners as of now and all were appointed by the previous Telugu Desam regime. The commissioners were also appointed in 2018, a year after the High Court directed then state government to fill the posts at the earliest.

    Amaravati: P. Ramesh Kumar IAS(retd) is appointed as State Chief Information Officer by Governor. The government issued orders on Thursday, with this effect. Along with him, R. Srinivasarao is appointed as State Information Commissioner. Ravikumar, Ramana Kumar, Janardhanarao and Ilapuram Raja are other Information Commissioners. Ravikumar is in charge CIC now.

    Amaravati: At least 10 new COVID19 positive cases reported in AP secretariat on Thursday, according to sources in the secretariat. Already 16 employees suffered with the virus, despite taking many precautions.
