TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy was arrested when he was trying to reach a project site in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. 

A blast in open cast mine in Peddapalli resulted in death of 4 workers. The blast occurred today morning in Phase-2 of the Surface Mine-1.

The mishap occurred during the OB blasting four of contract workers died on the spot. Three bodies have been taken out so far.The other two were reported to be seriously injured.The bodies were shifted to Godavarikani Government Area Hospital for post mortem.

CM Jagan Mohan Reddi's Delhi tour got postponed due to the busy schedule of the Union Home Munister and other Cabinet ministers. The CM had planned to meet them and take up pending issues of the state including interstate water disputes, SEC, and funds to polavaram etc. Hiwever, it is learnt that the HM has a hectic schedule with China occupying priority. It is learnt that Amit Shah's office advised CM to reschedule his visit. Accordingly the visit for postponed.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at the latter's official residence Raj BHAVAN and extended greeting on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day.

Governor also greeted the Chief Minister for leading the state towards development path in the last six years.
