    Telangana records 1,284 new coronavirus cases, 6 deaths

    6 deaths & 1,284 new coronavirus cases recorded in Telangana today. Of them 667 recorded in GHMCO & 617 in districts. Total no of cases mounts to 43,780 of which 12,765 are active cases. 1,902 discharged & 14,883 samples tested today

    Srikakulam: Fire accident at furniture shop

    Fire accident occurred in a furniture store in Srikakulam city on Saturday night. In the wake of Covid lockdown, the shop was closed and no one observed power supply problem in the shop. Fire department officials said that power short circuit was the reason for the fire mishap. On information police rushed to spot and fire staff extinguished the fire.

    CBI takes up probe into Viveka Case

    CBI took up the probe into the mysterious death of YS Vivekananda Reddy. It has booked a case of murder. They met SIT officials in Kadapa and inquired about the investigation made by them. Why after certain progress it stopped. They also are taking reports pertaining to about 1400 people in Pulivendula constituency. The CBI will also go to Pulivendula soon. It may be mentioned here that CBI took up the case following the directive of AP High Court.
