    In the wake of the Amphan cyclone alarm, the East Godavari collector D Muralidhar Reddy has alerted the authorities that all the revenue divisions had to set up control rooms. Muralidhar Reddy ordered the tahsildars and MPDOs of coastal zones on Monday night. Officials of the Katrenikona, Allavaram, Amalapuram, Malikipuram, Rajolu, Mummidivaram, Polavaram zones in the Konaseema region along with Tuni, Uppada, Pothupallevu, Kakinada, and others have been alerted.     Following the instructions of CM KCR, RTC buses resumed from all seven depots in the district. Even though buses were readied as per the norms, there is a poor response from the public. Yadadri Depot's first bus was gone to Secundrabad at 7 am. Depot manager Raghu informed that buses resumed after a gap of 50 days and advised people to wear masks while traveling and sanitizers are kept available in the buses in the interest of passengers.
