Kanipakam temple closed for two days: EO

Chittoor: As one of the security guards of Kanipakam Sri Varasiddivinayakaswamy temple has been inflicted with corona positive, the temple will be closed for two days from Monday onwards according to A.Venkatesh, Executive Officer of the temple. Meanwhile, instructions were given to all the employees of the temple for undergoing medical tests relating to COVID 19. Devotees would be allowed into the temple from Wednesday onwards. Kalyanakatta will be opened on the same day for tonsure to the devotees he added. It may be stated that the first corona positive case has been recorded in the peripheral.

Amaravati: AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana launched Jana Jagaran programme in Guntur, as part of creating awareness among public about the six-year governance of Prime minister Narendra Modi, on Monday. He along with party cadre have been distributing pamphlets and other material as part of the programme. 

Amaravati: In a bid to speed up the establishment of Kadapa steel plant as early as possible, the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the industrial department authorities to allocate at least Rs 500 cr from the government as equity share, during a review meeting on Monday in which industries minister and others explained about the developments of the project so far.
