Coronavirus Outbreak Live Updates: With the fast growth of the novel Coronavirus across the globe, the people and concerned about the virus and are left in a panic. The virus, which evolved from the mainland of China recording 3267 deaths has slowed down in China. However, the COVID-19 is rapidly spreading throughout the world with more than 2,94,110 confirmed cases and 12,994 deaths. Coming to the Indian subcontinent, the corona cases reached to 415 including 33 in Telangana and 7 in Andhra Pradesh respectively. The total figure also includes four deaths reported from Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Maharastra.

    Five people who came in contact with Paytm employee quarantined in Delhi

    Five people who came in contact with a coronavirus patient who works in Gurgaon and lives in west Delhi have been tested and quarantined till their results come in, Delhi government health officials said on Thursday.

    The Paytm employee, who tested positive for the contagious disease with flu like symptoms on Wednesday, came in touch with 91 people in Gurgaon, an official said, citing his counterpart in the suburban town.

    Delhi government health officials are also coordinating with their counterparts in Noida to ascertain the number of people he came in contact with. (PTI)

    Facebook contractor tests positive for COVID-19, Seattle office shut

    Facebook has shut its Seattle office until March 9 after one of its contractors tested positive for COVID-19, suggesting all its employees to work from home for the rest of the month.     Lucknow bans sale of meat to stop spread of coronavirus

    Sale of meat, semi-cooked meat and fish has been banned in open areas in Lucknow to ensure that coronavirus does not transmit through meat. Lucknow District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said, "Hotels and restaurants have been asked to ensure cleanliness and hygiene."
