TS Govt appoints new BC Commission
The Government of Telangana on Monday appointed a new Backward Classes Commission and appointed Dr. V. Krishna Mohan Rao as its Chairman.
Three other members were also appointed for the Commission. They are Ch. Upendra, S. Patel Nooli and S. Kishor Goud. The Commissioner of BC Welfare will be the Member-Secretary of the Commission.

Andhra Pradesh logs 1002 new coronavirus cases and 12 deaths today - August 23, 2021
In the lastest health bulletin released by the Andhra Pradesh state medical and family welfare department, the state has registered 1002 new Covid-19 cases on Monday taking the total cases to 20,03,342. Andhra Pradesh DGP Gautam Sawang said the death of four AR policemen in a road accident in Srikakulam is a huge loss to their police and families as well. Telangana: Economic growth rate of the state has been increasing, says Finance Minister Harish Rao
Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao said that Telangana has registered an economic growth rate of 11.5 percent in the last six years. He spoke at a media conference on the state of the economy over the past seven years. He said that the country has achieved a growth rate of 7 percent in six years while Telangana has achieved a growth rate of more than 3 percent over the country. Andhra Pradesh: Four constables dead in a road accident in Srikakulam
A fatal road accident took place in Srikakulam district on Monday where a Bolero vehicle carrying AR constables was involved in an accident on the national highway at Palasa mandal. Four constables were killed on the spot in the incident. A speeding lorry collided with a passing police vehicle while crossing the road. Telangana: CM KCR releases Rs 500 crore for Dalit Bandhu scheme in Huzurabad
The government of Telangana has released another Rs 500 crore for the Dalit Bandhu project in Huzurabad. The government has already issued orders on the release of funds. AP High Court adjourns hearing of Amaravati capital petitions to November 15

AP Women Commission chairperson meets petrol attack victim
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Women Commission chairperson Vasireddy Padma met the girl who was set ablaze in Vizianagaram and undergoing treatment at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
She said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was serious about the incident and the victim was shifted to Vizag for better treatment based on the CM’s instructions.
