Coronavirus in India: India logged 2,86,384 new COVID-19 cases and 573 deaths in the last 24 hours, stated the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday. With this, the country's active caseload mounted to 22,02,472, which is 5.46 per cent of the total COVID-19 cases reported so far. As per the health bulletin, the daily positivity rate is 19.59 per cent while the weekly positivity rate is 17.75 per cent. With 3,06,357 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the cumulative recoveries reached 3,76,77,328. The recovery rate is currently at 93.33 per cent.

Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh reported 13,474 fresh Coronavirus cases taking the total tally to 22,36,047 cases across the state. While coming to fatalities, nine deaths reported in the last twenty four hours taking the toll to 14579. On the other hand, as many as 10,290 new patients were cured in the last twenty four hours taking the total recoveries to 21,11,975 and there are currently 1,09,493 active cases. According to district-wise data, Kadapa district reported 2031 new infections, followed by Kurnool 1835 and Visakhapatnam 1349 while Srikakulam has logged the least cases with 259 new cases in the last twenty-four hours.

Coronavirus in Telangana: As many as 3,944 fresh cases of Coronavirus were registered in Telangana State till 5.30 pm on Thursday while three more people lost their lives due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

With this increase, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the State has increased to 7,51,099 while the death toll increased to 4,081.

A total of 97,549 samples were tested till 5:30 pm on Thursday which took the total number of samples tested so far to 3,17,76,018.

According to the Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, as many as 1,372 cases were recorded in Greater Hyderabad alone while 288 cases in Medchal Malkajgiri, 259 in Rangareddy and 135 cases in Khammam district were also registered.

On Thursday, a total of 2,444 people recovered from the disease. Presently, there are 39,520 Active Cases in Telangana State.
