Ganesh Immersion 2024: Live Updates and Highlights

The Ganesh idols across the twin cities in Hyderabad and Secunderabad are all set for visarjan today amidst full security and enormous arrangements. Meanwhile, the massive Ganesh idol has already been loaded onto a vehicle with the assistance of a crane.

Following the successful loading, welding work was carried out without moving the colossal statue. Once this essential welding task is completed, a pooja ceremony will be conducted in honor of Lord Ganapati. The grand procession featuring the beloved Ganesha will commence shortly afterward.

    Old city’s Balapur Ganesh passing through the historic Charminar at 2 pm with hundreds of people gathered to take the glimps of the idol.

    The people were seen chanting Ganapati Bappa morya when the Ganesh idol was passing near Charminar. The entire premises are engulfed with spiritual chanting.

    City’s tallest and popular Khairatabad Ganesh idol was immersed in Hussain Sagar lake, within six and half hours, on Tuesday

    Special pooja for the Khairatabad Ganesh began at midnight at the pandal. The loading of the idol began at around 2am on a special trailer used to lug the idol. By 3 am, welding works were completed to the giant Ganesh and then the procession started at 7 am.
