Karnataka CM Swearing-in Ceremony Live Updates: Shivakumar took oath in the name of Gangadhara Ajja

Bengaluru: It is said that MLAs close to CM-designate Siddaramaiah are upset as only eight people have taken oath as Ministers today. Siddaramaiah as CM and DK Shivakumar as DCM will take oath today. A meeting was held in the presence of leaders of the Delhi High Command (Congress High Command) on Thursday. During the meeting, there was a long discussion between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar about who should be included in the cabinet. In the end, eight people from six communities got ministerial positions.

    I was expecting DCM position for my father. Because every member of our community has voted for Congress. The high command should have been given DCM post to my father, he was doing good for the society. Let's see if DK Shiva Kumar will be the CM in the coming years and then he give DCM post to my father.     Over 15,000 police force have been deployed in the Kanteerva Stadium for the swearing in ceremony. According to the stadium authorities the stands at the stadium can seat 75,000 people, due to the surging crowd numbers even on the ground on the centre chairs have been arranged which numbers to over 25,000 the crowds started arriving at 8 am and every seat was taken by 11 am

    cop injured in a scuffle with the public trying to enter the stadium to watch the swearing in ceremony of Siddaramiah and DK Shivakumar at gate No. 3 a cop was hurt when a number of public pushed him tore his uniform he was not in a position to walk after the incident he was sent away in an autorikshaw to a hospital. It is learnt that this constable was from Halasuru Gate police station
