Defence ministry ordered 118 Arjun tanks

New Delhi: In a boost to the Make in India programme, the Defense Ministry has today placed an order for the supply of 118 Main Fighter Tanks Arjun Mk 1A to the Heavy Vehicle Factory, Avadi.

The Indian Army will get these tanks and its cost will be Rs 7,523 crore. This information was given by the Chief Spokesperson of the Defense Ministry, Bharat Bhushan Babu.

Andhra Pradesh tops in administering more vaccines to women than men

The Andhra Pradesh government has achieved another milestone in the covid vaccination process and topped the list in the country by giving the highest doses to women. A total of 3,85,14,395 doses of vaccine were administered in Andhra Pradesh till Wednesday evening.
