Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy arranged a preparatory meeting with officials ahead of his meeting with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik. During the meeting held at the CM's camp office in Tadepalli, CM Jagan had a lengthy discussion with the officials. CM Jagan will leave for Bhubaneswar tomorrow (09-11-2021) and is scheduled to hold talks with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday evening on issues related to the two states. The meteorological department has warned that the city of Chennai has already been submerged due to a downpour in Tamil Nadu and heavy rains are expected for another two days. The four-year-old girl who was found dead on the roadside in Dwarakapuri colony of Punjagutta is said to have been murdered, according to the police. The police said that the post-mortem report showed the girl died after being kicked forcefully in the stomach. They continued that the CCTV footage showed that a woman dumped the body of the girl in front of a closed shutter of a shop after killing the girl. "We are examining the CCTV footage of the colonies where the woman got disappeared," the police said.Read more

The Telangana high court on Monday granted bail to Teenmaar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveen. Cases were registered against Mallanna in the various police stations in the city including Chilakalaguda. He was kept in jail for about two months. The high court which heard the bail petition filed by Teenmaar Mallanna granted the bail. It is learned that he will be released from jail today evening.Read more
