Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj said that there was no confusion in the results and everything was transparent.
Talking to media on the allegations of delay, the CEO said that the observer was looking after the results.
The process is very very transparent, political parties are there officials are there. After signing by the observer the results are announced. There are 47 candidates hence there was delay.
Every round is at least taking half an hour. Every candidate's result should be looked at seriously. Replying to a question, he said that in other states there are less candidates. Everything is being looked after by the political parties and observer and there is no scope for irregularities, the CEO said.

CEO Vikas Raj told media that delay in announcing results was due to large number of candidates here. In 6 other states candidates number is not more than 6 or 7. He assured it would be done as fast as possible.

Now the TRS angry over the delay in the announcement of results. Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy asks officials to announce results after every round. He said that the BJP leaders were creating confusion over the leads.
The PRO of a BJP MLA misled all by giving wrong figures. Though TRS got less votes compared to BJP in a couple of rounds, the party maintained lead Tull now, he said.

Counting officials go on tea break during 5th round
The tension continues to grip all three parties TRS, BJP and Congress as the officials during the counting has gone for a tea break. It is reported that the RO has given this as an excuse for the delay in releasing the results of the first four rounds.

Why delay in results of first four rounds, Kishan questions CEO
It’s all happening there in the Munugodu bypoll land where the Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has reportedly called up CEO Vikas Raj over phone and has questioned about the delay in round wise results and why it has not been uploaded so far. Soon after that the CEO has released 4 rounds results within 10 minutes.
It is reported that BJP is likely to complaint against the CEO for the delay in the results.
The TRS candidate K Prabhakar Reddy was in lead by 6706 votes in the first round where BJP was with 5350 and Congress with 1837. In the second round BJP was in lead with 8622 votes, TRS with 7781 and Congress with 1532. In the third round BJP was in lead with 7426 votes where TRS was with 7010 and Congress gained 1532.
The BJP is leading in the villages where the Ministers Ch Malla Reddy (Aregudem), V Prashant Reddy (Devulamma Nagaram) and V Srinivas Goud (Lingojiguda) were the incharges for TRS.
The BJP candidate Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy secured lead in second, third and fourth round.
After two rounds of counting the TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy of TRS is leading with 318 votes against BJPs Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy aftertwo rounds.
After round 5, the BJP in lead by 29,505, TRS 28,409 and INC 6,169
