Telangana, Andhra Rain Live Updates: PM Modi take stock of situation, death toll rises to 25
With the incessant rains in Hyderabad, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) asked the people to stay indoors for the next three days as rains are expected to lash the city for two more days.
More than 14 people have died in rain related incidents in Telangana. Seven people have reportedly died in Andhra Pradesh.
AccuWeather, meanwhile predicted that heavy rains are expected in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next two days. Depression over Telangana will weaken to a well-marked low. Heavy rain possible in Telangana, Maharashtra & North Karnataka into Thursday. Light shear & warm water can allow low to strengthen over the AS starting Friday. Interests from Oman & Yemen to West India should monitor.
After the downpour till 2 am on Wednesday, around 1,500 colonies witnessed rainwater till the waist-level. While some people were evacuated and sent to safety places, many others stuck in the rainwater.

Rajamahendravaram Rain Updates: Wide spread rain started in East gidavari district due to deep depression in Bay of Bengal. Many reserviors in the district are over flowing with rain water. National Highway at Jaggampeta inundated rain water and traffic movement wa interrupted. District administration alerted the officials of low lying areas in the wake of heavy rains.

Rajamahendravaram Rain Updates: Flood water in river Godavari is increasing slowly due to heavy rains in its catchment area.At present the water level at Cotton Barrage is 11 feet and three lakh cusecs of water discharging into the sea from the barrage.
