Student leaders of various organisations protest at OU
Student leaders of various organisations protested at Arts College, Osmania University and alleged that the students staying in hostels are being targeted by TRS party. They further went on to allege that, some outsiders have entered the hostel premises and physically abused the students belonging to ABVP. The police reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesting students, meanwhile the protesters tore off a flexi of CM KCR and tried to burn it, but were stopped by the police. In order to bring the situation under control the police has called in for more troops and pick up vehicles have also arrived on scene to detain the protesters. The overall situation is brought under control now as the police is seen to be negotiating with the protesters.

Coronavirus In Telangana: As many as 509 fresh Coronavirus positive cases were reported until 8 pm on Wednesday taking the total tally to 2,79,644 while the fatalities to 1,505 with three new deaths in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the recovery count went up to 2,70,967 with 517 recoveries in a single day. At present, there are 7,172 active cases out of which 5,063 are in-home or institutional isolation.
