Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday reported 1085 coronavirus positive cases and 8 deaths due to the deadly virus. The overall positive cases stood at 8,63,843 while the deaths at 6956. Total active cases 13,394.

Coronavirus in India on Tuesday reported 37,975 coronavirus positive cases and 480 deaths due to the deadly virus. The overall positive cases stood at 91,77,841 while the deaths at 1,34,218.Total active cases at 4,38,667.

    YS Jagan launches Jagananna Thodu, credits Rs. 10000 to street vendors accounts

    Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched another scheme 'Jagananna Thodu' scheme to support small traders. CM YS Jagan on Wednesday from his camp office credited 9.05 lakh small traders with interest-free loans of Rs. 905 crore online at the click of a button. Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Kodali Nani, Shankar Narayana, Adimulapu Suresh and other officials were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said, "Today we are getting ready for a great event." He said that the scheme was launched to provide financial aid to street vendors in villages and towns.

    Cyclone intensifies in Chittoor District

    Chittoor, The threatening Never Cyclone has been witnessing with gale winds and downpour at various centres in the district. District Collector Dr N.B.Gupta has announced leave for all the Govt. Schools today and tomorrow. Instructions were given to all the MROs and MPDOs besides Irrigation department engineers to be cautious for averting the disaster of the cyclone particularly in respect of breaches of irrigation tanks. No untoward incident has been reported so far.

    Nellore: District Collector KVN Chakradhar Babu announced holidays for educational institutions in the district for three days from 25 to 27 in connection with increasing intensity of the cyclone.

    Coronavirus in India: India reported 44,376 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours and 481 deaths due to the disease, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday.

    The total cases in the country now stands at 92,22,217 including 86,42,771 discharges and 4,44,746 active cases. With 481 new deaths, the cumulative toll reached 1,34,699.
